As Retail Product Manager , you will play a vital role in improving patient's lives.
The position holder is responsible for development, strategies and tactics of all Marketing activities all over Egypt in Traditional Trade channels : Mainly in Retail & Wholesale(chain pharmacies)-, providing leadership for managing a product/ line of products in terms of developing and implementing general strategy, in addition to, conventions, budgeting and general positioning of the product/ line of products. He/she has to follow up closely the implementation of his/her plans and/or tactics and continuously monitor his/her products’ results versus the company objectives. He/she has to study in-depth and continuously his market needs and clearly define all the market growth drivers and opportunities. Major Accountabilities
. Portfolio Strategic Impact & ROI
- Monitor market trends in the region and advise management of changes in competition, product availability or related matters.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategy and overall objectives.
- Develop and execute advertising and promotion tactics for assigned products.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of promotional materials in the field to take remedial action where necessary.
- Assist in the management of budgetary responsibilities as necessary.
- Assist in the identification of new business opportunities through continuous assessment of market dynamics.
Brand Plan Implementation & Evaluation
- Build and Implement national marketing programs with key chain pharmacies
- Develop, execute and monitor promotions (pre and post) in collaboration with Sales and Finance.
- Assist in the direction of marketing activities for the achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control.
- Co-ordinate the marketing objectives, policies and programs within the context of the overall corporate plan and where appropriate, recommend standards and set targets.
- Assist in the preparation of operations matters including market research, advertising, and promotion, distribution, pricing and selling.
Market Analysis & Forecasting
- Ensure that all strategy is underpinned by consumer research to determine needs of target audience.
- Extracting and analyzing retail audit data
- Ensure the use of effective forecast models and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Contribute to market forecasting as necessary.
- Track and report on unit and value accomplishments versus the plan. Initiates remedial actions where necessary to achieve objectives.
- Monitor market place competitor product evolution as necessary.
Building Effective Business Partnerships
- Establishing Teams, Distributor Management, Stakeholder Management skills
- Continuously drive to improve , physical availability and conversion through understanding and responding to the needs of customers and through field sales in call offer; selling tools, store data, pro-brand strategies
- Collaborate with other members of the Pharma Sales & Marketing leadership team to delivery competitive advantage.
- Communicate and co-ordinate promotional activities with sales management.
- Assist the sales force in product training and strategy orientation.
- Ensure the implementation of management plans for all KOLs to advance business partnerships.
- Develop sound business partnerships with all internal, external and global stakeholders.

Essential Experience required :
- Minimum of two year experience as product manager in a multinational company in Traditional Trade is a MUST, specifically with Retail.
- Strategic and Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
- Working with chain team to leverage on chain activities and winning with pharmacists
- Build and Manage the social media channels (ex. Facebook, applications )
- Degree level education or equivalent ideally in Business or Marketing.
- Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across functions in an ambiguous environment.
- Organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Pharmacy , vet or medical background
- Fluency in English language
