ROLE SUMMARY
The HR Personnel Specialist will be responsible for all HR Governmental related activities for Upjohn Legal Entity in Egypt.
Provides Labor Relations consulting services and implements plans, policies and programs affecting the organization’s relations with its organized employees and their representatives. Acts as the main point of contact with Social Security & Labor office authorities. Directs staffing and employee relations' programs for this workforce and maintains union/management relationships. Works with union leadership and site management to proactively mitigate and/or resolve issues to avoid grievances and arbitration. Receives, hears and determines response to grievances. Analyzes issues being grieved and, while representing Company’s interests, recognizes employees' concerns and assures compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Working with country HR Leads, Management and Legal Department. Coaches and counsels all levels of management in labor relations matters and their role in labor relations. May direct (and in some cases negotiate) hourly staffing, restructuring, and reductions in force with Governmental entities.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure clear action plans are in place to address priority issues /projects related to organizational development activities. Identifying both opportunities and threats, over the short, medium and long term.
- To develop company action plan in the area of external relations with social security and labor entities.
- To perform the needed regular visits for social security & labor offices.
- To monitor and manage the data filing system for all employees both internally and externally.
- To understand government priorities, laws, regulations, decision making process and anticipate future challenges/needs likely to impact our business strategies.
- To monitor and analyze legislative processes regarding employment.
- To handle all Headcount End to End on boarding & off boarding related activities.
- To work closely with the outsourcing co. for all on boarding & off boarding related activities.
- To proactively manage / resolve any disputes / penalties filed by the governmental entities regarding employment.
- To manage onsite inspections by Social Security and labor offices.
- To ensure compliance to government legislations and laws.
- To co-operate within the department to ensure fulfillment of strategy and objectives.
- To support with adhoc administrative activities.
- To support all levels of management in labor relations matters.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS;
- B.S. degree in Business or any degree related.
- Good command of English language verbal and written.
- Full knowledge of related laws and regulation.
- Maintaining confidentiality of work related materials and information.
- Excellent communications and negotiation skills
- Filing and data management
- +4 years of experience in similar position or related job experience.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload and adapt to changing priorities
