Job Purpose
To support the execution of materials requirements planning and replenishment of materials plans for Cairo site.
Key Responsibilities
- Run MRP, develop materials schedule for each supplier & ensuring that exceptions are Supports the follow up of materials delivery schedules as per MRP runs for each supplier.
- Ensure requirements are sent to the supplier in the most appropriate way and that the requirements can be met.
- Run materials overage reports to ensure materials availability as per the production schedule requirements.
- Support day to day management of issues associated with late deliveries, damaged stock, quality failures.
- Support MOH annual importation plan exercise by consolidating requirements on time.
- Keep optimum inventory and safety stocks on site based on site material stock policy & Segmentation rules.
- Co-ordinate with Inbound logistics section head to accelerate customs clearance process.
- Handle and ensure on-going Measurement of supplier performance.
- Support the product discontinuation process assessing material/components position and monitoring them through the discontinuation date.
Knowledge/ Education / Previous Experience Required:
- University Bachelors' degree
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain / Materials & Production Planning
- Good command in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of MOH regulations
- APICS certification is preferred
- Preferred experience in SAP SNP-APO / ECC
- Good knowledge of manufacturing, production and planning systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving & decision-making skills
- Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans.
- Ability to work within an environment of continual change
- Ability to work across boundaries with high level of discipline, commitment & accountability
