About the Job
- Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality.
- Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
- Provide assistance other medical services such as injections, blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.
- Serves patients by preparing medications, and monitoring patient drug therapies.
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders
- Participate in developing pharmacy staff’s pharmacological knowledge by participating in the process of clinical programs and training pharmacy staff, interns, externs, and health care professionals.
- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products
- Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
- Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintains records for controlled substances and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
- Reviewing branch accounting with a cashier and adjust any differences with pharmacy manager and storehouse keeper
- Reviewing the Contracted medicine from the past shift and review the same his shift and send them to contracting manager
Job Requirements
- Madinaty and 5th settlement resident
- Proven experience as a pharmacist.
- knowledge of MS Office and Pharmacy information systems - prefer SAP.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology.
- Valid license to practice the profession.
