Main Duties & Responsibilities

Establish and nurture sustained and effective relationships with national key Private Health Insurance partners in the GCC

• Build strategic framework and interaction model with PHI companies
• Build a strong network with insurance companies claim management and medical departments
• Manage third party PHI coordinators services

Build a strong Internal network and initiate timely communication with different brand teams and within HEMAR Team:

• Provide input to CVTs and into the different TAs Business plans
• Develop ‘fit-for-purpose’ local capabilities
• Build strong internal network with CVTs across TAs in addition to collecting and following up with the teams on insights about current issues affecting products access in private market
• Regular Update to HEMAR team on current and future private health insurance market initiatives and relevant matters

Support Formulary Additions And Patient Access To Janssen Portfolio:

• Plan and arrange for face to face meetings with PHI partners on periodical basis to disseminate value communication of Janssen innovations and patients’ access
• Ensure patient access to Janssen innovations, proper enlisting in Private health insurance formularies
• Enlisting in PHI formularies (PBP) ensure right coding and e-claim coding /e-Rx
• Proactively engaging with PHI partners to ensure seamless reimbursement process of Janssen products, education in proper coding and documentation for patient cases.
• Engage with PHI regulators in the GCC, to drive the engage on policy shaping for patient access to innovative therapies and demonstrating the health-economics of adopting innovation.

Environment scanning and policy shaping role:

• Scan the private market environment and highlight changes in policies and regulations to management
• Shaping PHI policies by driving the debate with Insurance regulatory bodies
• Support head of department on PHI policy shaping for favorable environment for patient access to innovation
• Assessing current and future opportunities in the PHI market
• Highlight the impact of actual and future changes on Janssen portfolio and patients access to drugs
• Play and active role with pharma association around insurance initiatives and represent Janssen in different educational events or conferences across GCC

Liaison Between Insurance Companies And Janssen:

• Be the Contact person for the internal teams in following up and solving medical cases rejected by insurance companies by liaising with claim management and prescribers
• Liaise with Affordability program specialist to facilitate copayment and other relevant cases with insurance companies

Build Strategic partnerships, Increase awareness, education and training to insurance companies:

• Launching strategic partnership and collaboration initiatives with PHI companies
• Value proposition communication and scientific education of PHI partners
• Identify the Knowledge gaps at PHI medical teams and ensure value communication and scientific engagement
• Engagement and educate hospital insurance coordinators department to facilitate seamless reimbursement process.
• Inform Insurance companies in the GCC on the approval timelines of different products and indications
• Discuss Value story and Cost efficacy of Janssen drugs
• Build a deep understanding of products clinical data and competitors’ data and costs across TAs to facilitate discussions

Qualifications

• Previous experience in working with PHI and managing high complex strategic initiatives
• Private Health Insurance is a must
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Strong team player who works effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong ability to think strategically and to develop robust cross functionally aligned plans
• Leadership abilities & competencies to lead a cross-functional team
• Highly ethical standards and follows Johnson & Johnson credo
