Summary of the role
To lead and undertake all regulatory work necessary to meet the needs of the Reckitt Benckiser (Hygiene) business in the Export Markets within North Africa cluster (FRENCH Speaking Countries) and in particular to be responsible for ensuring the local company remain in constant compliance with all local regulations and RB international procedures.
Responsabilities
- Work with the relevant local and Global teams to establish and implement the regulatory strategies
- Ensure on-going regulatory and product safety compliance
- Assist the Head of Regulatory in the North -AFRICA Region to interpret local regulation and guidelines and define company Regulatory policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate the resolution of regulatory issues and regulatory registration.
- Interact with Relevant Authorities and Government authorities
Qualifications and Other Requirements for the role
• Science degree : Pharmacy degree prefered
• Experienced in the RX, OTC market and within FMCG environment, or within a pharmaceutical environment, with experience in a Medical, Regulatory and / or Safety functions.
• Effective communicator with good business acumen in French and English. (Compulsory)
• Broad knowledge of regulatory and healthcare registration systems.
• Experience in handling corporate crisis management and issues resolution.
• Sound performer in interacting with, and influencing regulatory authorities and political lobbies
