Job Description
This role can be located in Lebanon or in Egypt.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the Immunology line across a cluster of countries and handling different markets (Levant & Egypt)
- Play an active part within brand teams and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver on brand objectives
- Customise technical data into simple compelling messages in the format required and appropriate for local stakeholders
- Define Value Propositions by consolidating Core Value Dossiers, stakeholder needs, local environment and Brand priorities
- Propose to brand teams and provide training of analysis, tools, evidence, actions and programmes to support and communicate the value propositions
- Monitor changes and competitive situation in the environment in order to anticipate risks and opportunities for Market access
- Understand stakeholder needs and requirements for demonstrating value
- Develop pricing scenarios, P&R strategies and monitor prices together with Market Access Director
- Prepare submissions and objections handling
- Prioritise market access activities together with Market Access Director
- Liaise with AREA to identify further requirements for value propositions development
- To address HTA as well as payers & providers requirements
- To maintain continuous relationship and awareness with health economic community and HE KOLs in order to access primary data
- to support the launch of new products
- Provide pharmaco-economic local data to the brand team which demonstrate the value of brands and can support market access1q2
- Understand different HEOR models and select the appropriate based on the desired outcomes
- to demonstrate the economic impact and benefits of AbbVie products at affiliate level and in connection with Global HE
- Provide input to Global HEOR about needs of the affiliate to be considered when developing HEOR models
- Provide input to the medical department, for the inclusion of local HEOR end-points into medical studies Synthesize conclusions of modeling exercises
- Lead and/or support manuscript generation
Qualifications
- Ability to interpret scientific and pharmaco-economic data to assess its relevance to stakeholders and build into value messages
- Pricing capabilities which will support to Drive right pricing strategies
- Ability to analyse complex models and scientific data and draw out key messages
- Ability to think strategically to understand how to position a value-story in the context of brand and affiliate strategy
- Ability to effectively interface with customers in order to deliver value messages and gather insights
- Ability to lead/manage cross-functional projects in order to develop value propositions
- Ability to communicate effectively, in order to facilitate internal information sharing and brand team working
- Ability to collaborate with other MA functions and brand teams to collect and share insights to support the development of value propositions
- Knowledge of Pricing and Tendring
- Knowledge of established cost-containment measures used to manage pharmaceutical expenditure in [country]
- Knowledge of [country] market mechanics, healthcare policy and funding pathways
- Knowledge of payer mindset and motivations in [country]
- Knowledge of pharmaco-economic principles
- 3-5 years working in pharmaceutical industry or within healthcare payer/provider or academic institution
- A diversified experienced in a managerial role in Marketing, Access and Sales is required
- Experience with hospital products is required. Immunology experience is a plus.
- Preferred: 2 years of specific market access experience
- Preferred : Experience and knowledge of the markets in Lebanon and Egypt
